A "typical" effort from Bees tonight, giving everything, although it wasn't enough. In Lauko Bison have a sniper extra-ordinaire.

Now - Bison definitely deserved the win. But Nigel Bonifarce seemed to ensure we weren't going to have a chance in the last 5 minutes to come back. The key "Call" was with Cesky charging into their zone, virtually alone, Bonifarce blew the whistle for something that happened back in Bees defensive zone. What was it? God (and Bloomingfarce) only know. Was it any surprise that Bees got upset? Nope. If anyone can shed any light on why he blew the whistle then, please let me know.

I do feel that the recent spell of some of our players bleating to the ref may have come back to haunt us tonight. When someone's constantly whinging at a ref, I can see why they don't want to make a call to the benefit of the player (e.g. Pinc getting called for hi-sticks, after he'd twice been held back in about 30 seconds).

As far as I'm concerned Boniface didn't cost us the game - but he certainly left a sour taste after that finish.

The net was off it's moorings. I think Carl got annoyed because he was putting it back on himself and didn't need the whistle blown.

Especially when the play was down the other end and Bees had a scoring opportunity. Truly shocking decision, which smacked of Bonifarce giving the proverbial "two fingers" to Bees.

On a lighter note, did anyone else spot these two doppelgängers at the game?

Bonniface is usually my favourite ref on the "tour" with his calm and composed approach, however last night he moved into arrogance with his shocking performance during the last period. The tripping call on Ambler was harsh, then the whistle blowing as Cesky was going through on goal was just shocking - it is no wonder our players went mental.

As for the rest of the performance, mixed. To conceed one shorthanded goal is poor, two is just shocking. Credit to the scorer, but it was a gift. The players did well to lift themselves was the shambles which was Saturday night, but it just wasnt enough. A must must must win game now on Saturday.

Bit of a weird game last night really I felt.

We were never going to be able to exchange blows with the Bison given the roster and experience they have to call upon but I thought we did a good containing job for the most part although the Bison in fairness deserved the win. Lauko well the guy is a scoring machine and he had way too much time last night scoring his four goals especially two short handed and he was probably the difference last night, he doesn't seem to miss :(

I thought our third line had a pretty good game last night and certainly chipped in with some points which is always good to see and Calvert was a worthy man of the match for me although again Bomber impressed me and actually threw some hits which was lacking in general last night I felt.

As for Bonniface well I'd say he didn't cost us the game but some of the calls especially in the third period were simply a joke. The breakaway by Cesky being the prime example and with Ambler putting the net back on as play was going the other way it was a poor call. If your going to blow the whistle for it why leave it for a good five seconds first ? I just don't get that one, can someone explain that to me ?!! After that it turned into the Bonniface show with him kicking Ambler out and dishing out poor penalties.

Oh well Saturday against Romford is a must win no doubt about it and we can't afford to lose at home with the fixtures we have coming up and the gap being reduced especially as we don't have a game on Sunday we need to go full tilt and hope the Cats have a tough weekend against the Flames & Slough.

After my comments about Saturday, it really was pleasing to see all 3 lines chipping in with goals. Callum and Ash did well and credit to Housey too - he may not have got a point, but he's just as much part of that line and had a decent game last night. Then Bicks' goal showed off some surprising skill and finishing ability - more please Adam !!

OK. So who exactly are this "Bracknell Bees" team due to play in Manchester on Sunday night then?

Voice of reason here - surprising eh Niall!

Thought the Bison deserved the win. Boniface didn't cost us the game - overall he called a rather slack game but it never looked like boiling over, thought he did OK - did go rather jobs worth in the 3rd but his decisions could all be argued to be "technically correct", however, he certainly killed off any small chance we may have had late in the 3rd though.

I also think how he "announced" the misconduct calls were rather arrogant and he also looked like he enjoyed doing it?

When did Andy Hemmings turn into a little girl?

His opening goal celebration was certainly rather camp imo. Jumping into Mr.Wiggins - falling over and then repeatedly shouting in a very high pitched voice WOOH!, WOOH!, WOOH! as he went to the Beavers bench - Made me smile though  :D . Andy sure must be confident about his sexulality imo

Have to say our 3rd line pulled us back into a game that looked like the Bison D were controlling rather nicely. Top effort last night from Messr's House, Best and especially Calvert.

The top line were kept subdued for most of the game - credit to the Bison for that.

On the 2nd line Adam Bicknell stood out - superb goal and overall he had a very chippy game.

If we can get all 3 guys back firing (at the same time) on the 2nd line they'll be back in business - thought Claude was very quiet last night.

What can you say about Bomber - Fantastic yet again! He deserved a medal last night for keeping his cool - well done Bomber keep it up.

Thought Shaun Thompson has a quiet game for the Beavers - what did he do to upset Pinc? Mr.Pinc was very upset at the end of the game?

Lauko was outstanding - after one horrible miss - cameback strongly and he is without doubt the 2nd best finisher in the EPL behind Cesky.

Loved the way Lauko acknowledge Chinny for his 3rd goal (I think). Chinny keep chewing the gum - your worth the admission money on your own. Chinny just seems to have made a career of simply gliding through games - gets the business done - and hopefully he can carry on playing as long as his coach. Characters like Chinny are few and far between now.

PS - 10/10 for Jamie Staff - Top bloke - we could have ended his career with a broken ankle? I winced as he threw himself into making saves - someone should have told him he could have used his pads though

Agree entirely. Bomber was excellent as he has been over the past month and Calvert continues to impress.
