I agree, BUT, if Basingstoke are playing EPL this year, I would imagine he would be top of their list?

Bison are playing EPL Next season

Not good enough for a starting berth in my opinion.

Why can't i 'go there'? It's an opinion. So, i'll go there. We're all entitled to opinions as you've said on the 'discussion thread'.

Yes. and so do I.

Personally, i think Dan would get on fine. But i would also be happy if Tom Annetts got the start in the EPL for the majority too. Dean Skinns did really well for Slough this past season. So did Stephen Wall. I see Dan Green almost up with those 2 and Tom following very close behind.

Yes, especially when we're asked for them.

Having had 8 days to relax following the game (holiday & Coventry), reading about this has reminded me of a few things.

I do recall feeling quite angry after the first two periods. I felt we were just shocking in a "big" game. The third period did restore some pride, but as has been said - it was kind of a summary of our season. Good at times, but not consistent enough.

If there's one thing that I can say - if we'd been at Coventry, there is no way we could have stayed with MK or Potty yesterday. They never took a shift off - we'd have been taken apart. We'd have lost to Guildford too.

As for the Rockman debate. How did we manage to compile the BEST defensive record in the division? Only 148 goals against.

the problem we had was scoring only 176 goals - only Swindon scored fewer. And this total was 54 fewer than both MK and Flickers and 99 less than Potty. THAT's were the problem really lay.

All netminders will give up bad/soft/unlucky goals. If your offense scores often enough though, you don't need to worry too much about the odd bad one.

Blimey, I must be in an agreeable mood as I agree totally. (Must have been all that effort winding up the Slough supporters online whilst our forum was down! )

Our scoring ability was pitiful and whatever we do next year, assuming there is one, this needs to be solved. The defensive end of our game was OK, though there are still areas that could improve. I've actually been fairly critical of Rocky at times but not this season, the problem was elsewhere.
